Recently, I went to Udaipur with my family by booking a package from Thrillophilia. We booked the package for my parents, I and my younger sister. It was a 5 days and 4 nights trip, during which we got to cover all the important places of Udaipur. This reviews of thrillophilia is all about our experiences, places we visited and the memorable time we spent in this beautiful city.
The Right Catch
Being active on social media, I knew about Thrillophilia through its interesting ads and reels. So when my dad started planning the trip for Udaipur, I suggested he check Thrillophilia’s site. At first, he was not happy with the idea of booking a package from an online travel agency. But once I showed him the site and the affordable packages, he became interested as well. Luckily, there was some kind of offer going on through which we got the package for an even cheaper rate.
To book the package, we got connected with one of the representatives. The person over the call took all our details as well as explained to us the entire itinerary. Also, he was so friendly that he and my dad kept chatting for an hour and I guess they are like friends now. So, if you are looking for a convenient and quick way of planning a trip then Thrillophilia is all you need.
This is how our wonderful trip to Udaipur was…
All four of us landed at Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur. Right outside the airport, our driver was waiting for us. He helped us with our luggage and took us to our hotel.
We had booked our stay at Hotel Mewari Villa which was a beautiful lake-side property. It had great Rajasthani decor, delicious food and an amazing view of the lake from our bedroom.
After 2-3 hours, our driver picked us up from the hotel and took us for a tour. First, we visited Saheliyon ki Bari which is famous for its lush green gardens, sculptures and fountains. After a soothing walk in the garden, we headed towards the famous Fateh Sagar Lake. We also explored Under the Sun Aquarium and it was my first time seeing so many beautiful and colourful marine creatures up close.
The next day we visited the gorgeous Lake Pichola and the City Palace. The palace is truly an epitome of Rajasthan’s rich heritage, prosperity and power. Inside the palace, we got to see the Moti Mahal, Badi Mahal, Zenana Mahal, several gateways, galleries and stunning interiors. Although it was not included in the itinerary, my dad requested the driver to drop us off at Jagdish Temple. After offering our prayers, we went to the most recommended restaurant in the reviews of Thrillophilia, Ambrai Restaurant and Cafe. Honestly, it was a really beautiful restaurant which offered the best view of the lake.
On the third day, we left early from the hotel to visit Kumbhalgarh. We explored a few ancient temples and then went to Kumbhalgarh Fort. It was a grand fortress with a really fascinating history. Also, this fort is famous for having the second longest wall in the world after The Great Wall of China.
On day 4, we reached Chittorgarh after a 2 hour drive from Udaipur. We tried the authentic Dal Bati Churma during lunch which was way too heavy for all of us. Then, our driver took us to the grand Chittorgarh Fort. Inside the fort, we got to see Vijay Stambh, Rana Kumbha Palace, Padmini Palace, Gaumukh Reservoir and several temples.
It was the last day of our trip and we were packing our bags to go back home. We had a delicious breakfast at the hotel and got in our car. On reaching the airport, my dad thanked the driver for his warm hospitality and services.
Rajasthan is a beautiful state and its hospitality is truly commendable. There are great stories of warriors and locals in every corner. The locals treat you like their family which makes you feel like you are not so far away from home. I believe everyone should visit Rajasthan once in their life to see what is India’s true culture, traditions and hospitality. Me and my family got to experience all of this because of Thrillophilia and their wonderful all-inclusive packages.
